    September 9, 2018

Jouons teams kicked off the season this weekend with 2010's clinching a "W" for their first match, displaying quite the spectacle. 2009's narrowly lost their first contest and 2008's are rescheduled for a later date.

  • Teaching Laws of the Game

    December 10, 2016

At Jouons, it isn't enough that we teach soccer. We realize that in teaching the sport and watching players grow throughout the season, there just never is enough time to show them everything.

About Us

Jouons

Mission
To offer unparalleled soccer youth development. We aim to bring soccer to underserved communities with no soccer access; to provide a safe place to play, affordability city-wide and accessible to everyone.

Philosophy
Being good is not hard, being great requires discipline, practice and truly applying oneself. The score doesn’t matter but the way we play does.

Principle

Each individual must have the constant desire to improve.

Why Jouons
Jouons has over the years crafted a model process in key area's whereby the club finds success in its developmental endeavors.

We maintain a low number of participants to ensure that the ratio of player to a technical trainer is the best fit for development.

We offer programs in both the major soccer seasons as well as the winter season as part of our comprehensive development.

Once a part of Jouons, we welcome all families to stay connected even after leaving the club, we strive to help players in all stages of their development. Our dedication to the sport and the general concern for the wellbeing and success of our players ensures that we continue a dialogue to help them both navigate the complex soccer system and nurture their personal growth.
Highlights

FIFA17 Fundraiser at GRK

Fifa17 was quite the show! It took place on December 3rd, the same day as the famed El Classico matchup between fan favorites Real Madrid and FC Barcelona. This was a great compliment to soccer fans who showed up to take their field skills to the popular video game. The intensity at GRK restaurant, located in Downtown DC was surreal. The contenders all played with such emotion, as if they were actually on the field doing the tricks. It only takes a moment to notice the relative importance of a FIFA standoff; by the calculated looks on a players face, the tense fingers, the sweat slowly dripping from the forehead and the occasional grunt here and there, you can tell that "it was real", as real as it can get on an X-Box One platform. One lucky winner by the name of Juan Alvero took home the top prize of an X-Box One and the other quarter finalist took home gift cards to  locally owned and operated Soccer American as well as our raffle winner who scored a gift card to Takoma Park's hidden gem, Kin-Da Restaurant.
